Chairman's Update: We're Thankful to Have Made History in New Jersey

Government and Politics

November 29, 2024

Democrat,

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, we pause to reflect on and honor the outstanding political achievements of the year.

This year, we have much to be grateful for, starting with the historic election of Andy Kim as the first Korean American U.S. Senator, continuing his fight against corruption and for the American people. We’re also proud to send Nellie Pou, LaMonica McIver, and Herb Conaway to Congress, where they’ll stand firm for progress and against Trump’s harmful agenda.

In New Jersey, we remain committed to protecting reproductive rights, expanding affordable healthcare, combating gun violence, improving public education, and making our state more affordable for everyone.

Most importantly, we’re deeply grateful for the unwavering dedication of grassroots supporters like you. Your passion, energy, and commitment are the heart of everything we do, driving our shared mission forward. As we look ahead to the critical 2025 gubernatorial election, your continued support will be essential-not just to electing Democrats across New Jersey, but to ensuring our values are upheld and our progress remains strong. Together, we can build on the work we’ve accomplished and face the challenges ahead with determination and hope.

Thank you, and have a wonderful holiday!

- Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr.
