VIRGINIA – During an interview with Fox 5, Amanda Chase discussed the GOP primary she entered last month because of “phone calls from folks across Virginia” and “issues” with Winsome Earle-Sears’ campaign. She shared the “excitement around the race” now that she’s entered compared to before when it was just Sears in the primary. 

Sears is the only candidate who has not appeared for an interview on the Final Five as she continues to evade any questions from the media about why she’s defending Trump’s attacks on Virginia jobs and the state of her flailing campaign.

Amanda Chase: I received a number of phone calls from folks across Virginia.
 
Chase: I heard that there were some issues with our Republican, presumed Republican nominees campaign going through three campaign teams in a matter of a couple weeks. 
 
Chase: What I'm really excited about, I think, when Republicans have a choice where there's excitement around the race.
