At the January 17, 2023 City Council meeting, Azle City Council called for a General Election on May 6, 2023 for the purpose of electing a mayor and three (3) council members to Places 3, 4, and 6 for a two-year term expiring May 2025. Those interested in running for a place on the Azle City Council have from January 18 - February 17, 2023 to file for candidacy. Applicants have until 5 pm, Mon - Fri, to file in the City Secretary’s office at Azle City Hall.  Azle City Council members are elected at-large for two-year terms.
