From: City of BallwinNew Annexations
Please join us in welcoming the Cascades and Charleston Oaks subdivisions into the City of Ballwin!
Both subdivisions petitioned St. Louis County to join the City of Ballwin earlier this year. The annexations were approved by the St. Louis County Boundary Commission in the fall, and the two will officially join the City on January 1st, 2023.
The Cascades Subdvision brings in 23.3 acres to the City of Ballwin and is located in the
Southeast corner of the intersection of Ries Road and Big Bend Boulevard. It contains 43 multi-family housing units and 52 single-family housing units. Cascades residents will join Ward 1.
The Charleston Oaks Subdivision brings in 40 acres to the City of Ballwin and is located in the Southwest corner of the intersection of Ries Road and Big Bend Boulevard. It contains 103 single-family housing units. Charleston Oaks residents will join Ward 4.
Taxes will not increase for current residents of the City of Ballwin as a result of these two
annexations.
Please welcome our new residents to the City of Ballwin!
Last Round of Leaf Collection
The City of Ballwin is a little over halfway through the third round of leaf collection.
With fewer leaves falling and a majority of leaves expected to be on the ground soon, NEXT WEEK, December 5 - 9, (the City's 4th round) will be the last round of leaf collection for the fall 2022 season.
The majority of this year's leaves fell during the first few weeks of leaf collection compared to last year.
Please keep in mind, if you do have leaves that continue to fall, you can always bag your leaves for collection from Republic Services or mulch your leaves.
You can check out the link below for the latest round of leaf collection.
