Movies in the Parks 2023 Survey - Last Chance!

This year we are hitting the road again to bring movies to your neighborhood! In addition to showings at Twin Pines Park and Barrett Park, we will also be heading to Alexander Park for the first time.

Belmont Talks: Preparing Your Spring/Summer Vegetable Garden 

Join master gardener Jonathon Propp on Thursday, March 9th at 6:30pm for a discussion about when to plant your spring & summer gardens, soil preparation, and indoor & outdoor seed propagation. Free and open to all ages. Register here.

Scam Prevention & Awareness Seminar

Join Cassie Villar from Adult Protective Services on Wednesday, March 15th at 10:30am at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center to discuss scams that target older and dependent adults. This event is free. Please RSVP by calling 650-595-7444.

Shamrock Scavenger Hunt 

Calling all youth ages 9-14! Lucky the Leprechaun's pot of gold has gone missing at Barrett Community Center and he needs your help finding it before the end of the day! Join us on St. Patrick's Day for a scavenger hunt filled with minute to win it games, trivia, puzzles, and prizes! This event is free. Register here.

Summer Registration Coming Soon

Registration for all of our summer camps and classes will open on Friday, April 7th! We offer everything from yoga, to cooking, to swimming lessons, to building your very own robots! Browse our summer offerings here.

Belmont Talks: The Dangers of Fentanyl

Join the Belmont Police Department on Thursday, April 13th at 6:30pm for an open discussion on the issue of fentanyl, the signs of an overdose, and how to protect yourself and your family from this synthetic opioid that is having a devastating impact on every community. Camp SOAR Scholarships

We are so excited to announce we were accepted for the San Mateo County 2023 Summer Enrichment Grant and will be offering scholarships of up to $330 per week of Camp SOAR this summer! Applicants must be Belmont residents. Please submit a completed application here.

Stay up to date with all the happenings at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center with the Twin Pines Newsletter.  Here you’ll find updates on socials, drop-in activities, classes, the weekly menu, and more! The newsletter is available online, at the Senior Center – 20 Twin Pines Lane, and can be emailed to you by subscribing here.

Egg Hunt Coming Soon 

Join us at our annual Egg Adventure Hunt on Saturday, April 8th in Twin Pines Park! The hunt begins at 10am sharp but be sure to arrive by 9:30am! No registration required. 

13,000 eggs will be hidden throughout the park for ages 3-10. Don’t forget to bring your own basket and be sure to stick around after the hunt to enjoy some refreshments, take family photos with our bunnies, and visit with our summer camp contractors.
