Never has our Housing Element Update been so important and potentially so impactful to our small community. The City is required by the State to plan for accommodating 160 new housing units between 2023-2031.

A Glance at What's New for the 6th Cycle Housing Element Update

-December 14, 2022: The Planning Commission recommended that City Council adopt the Draft Housing Element.

-January 9, 2023: The City Council requested minor revisions to the Draft Housing Element before submittal to HCD.

-January 24, 2023: A City Council Meeting will be held to review a revised Draft Housing Element and vote on the recommendation to HCD.
