Flood Watch in Effect until 4:00 PM, January 11, 2023

Flood Watch for City of Benicia businesses adjacent to Sulphur Springs Creek in effect until tomorrow evening, 01/11/23.  This could include impacting portions of East and West Channel Road, Industrial Way, Bayshore Road, and California Court. National Weather Service predicts showers and thunderstorms expected before 4:00 AM, then showers likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.  More showers expected for Wednesday. 

Be prepared for flooding. Have a plan to evacuate if necessary. Beware of debris in the roadways and never drive through standing water. Avoid unnecessary travel. Turn around, don’t drown.
