Notification of Potential Flaring

The Benicia Fire Department has been notified by the Valero Refinery that their staff is doing routine maintenance on one of their units for the next 24 hours which may result in intermittent flaring. Benicia Fire Department staff will continue to monitor the situation. We currently do not anticipate any off-site health impacts.

We will notify the community if there are any significant changes.
