City of Coppell Offices Closed January 16

City of Coppell administrative offices, Coppell Municipal Court, Coppell Animal Services, Biodiversity Education Center, Coppell Arts Center, Cozby Library and Community Commons, and Coppell Senior and Community Center will be closed Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17.

Wagon Wheel Tennis and Pickleball Center will be open 9 am – 9 pm and The CORE will be open 7 am – 7 pm on Monday, January 16. The CORE’s Sunshine Room will be closed.

S. Belt Line Reconstruction Update

The S. Belt Line Reconstruction Project continues with utility improvements, roadway excavation, and subgrade prep this week. The first concrete pour of the new year is planned for today with additional pours expected next week. For more information about the S. Coppell Farmers Market

Saturday, January 14 | 8 am - Noon

It's the first Coppell Farmers Market of the new year! Connect with the source of flavorful, vibrant food and aspire to shop local this year.

The CFM is open from 8 am - noon on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month through March. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are accepted. For more information, please visit coppellfarmersmarket.org.

e Mine, Valentine Dance

Round up your crew and giddy up for the Be Mine, Valentine Dance! Dads, daughters, moms, sons, grandmas, and grandpas…the whole family is invited to lasso up an evening of fun at this Sweetheart Rodeo. Come out to the Four Points by Sheraton DFW Airport North and join the Valentine’s celebration with dinner, dessert, and lots of dancing!

Tickets are $30 per resident and $35 per non-resident. Register today!

Guided Bird Walk

Sunday, January 15 | 9:30 am
Cozby Library and Community Commons | 177 N. Heartz Rd.

Meet in front of the Cozby Library for a guided bird walk to observe the winter species that can be found in the vicinity of the library, including songbirds and many waterfowl. Participants should be prepared to walk approximately one mile. This program is designed primarily for adults, but children age 13 and up may attend with an adult. Registration is required.
