Building Inspection Activity

A total of 291 building inspections were performed in January 2023, which is 40% increase over the inspections performed in January of the prior year (207).

The Planning Commission will conduct public hearings to consider the following projects:

Get Ready to go Around the World with Kinder Skills

Youth participants are getting ready to explore the marvels across the globe while learning kindergarten readiness skills such as using a pencil, learning letters, counting numbers, and recognizing colors and shapes. The upcoming session is set to start on Monday, February 27 and conclude on Friday, March 31. This stimulating program is designed for three-, four-, and five-year-old children to socially and academically succeed in kindergarten.  For additional information about the program or registration please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at www.diamondbarca.gov/recregister or call (909) 839-7070.

Let your Superstar Shine!

Choose from three classes specializing in enhancing your child’s unique talents! Hollywood Superstars will introduce students to the world of acting and singing. Learn cool hip hop moves and dance styles in Hip Hop Kids or explore instruments like piano, guitar and drums in Rockstar Kids!  Next session start February 19.Click here to register online.

Everyone in the Pool!

Raptor Sports offers a variety of water sports training courses taking place at Diamond Bar High School. Classes include water polo instruction, Splashball , an introduction to the sport for students age 5-10 years old and Water Polo Academy, geared for beginners age 9-14. Swim Academy is targeted for advanced beginners looking to improve basic swim strokes to build techniques and endurance (participants must be able to swim 25 yards to enroll). Click here to register online.

Celebrating Chinese New Year

Over 400 guests were in attendance on Thursday, February 2 for the Evergreen Senior Club’s Chinese New Year Celebration at the Diamond Bar Center. The event was filled with entertainment, including showcasing the talents of its members through song, dance and a special Dragon Dance performance to celebrate the coming year. Free Smartphone Training

Need help using your smartphone? Look no further and sign up for a free 2-hour hands-on training sponsored by the California Telephone Access Program. Next class takes place on February 14.
