SONOMA-MARIN SAVING WATER PARTNERSHIP
ANNUAL REPORT

The Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Annual Report for the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership is now available online here. As a member of the Partnership, we would like to thank Healdsburg residents and businesses for their water conservation efforts that contributed to the Partnership achievements. Along with many other achievements, the Partnership as a whole removed nearly 1 million square feet of grass, with Healdsburg converting nearly 44,000 square feet of grass to beautiful water smart landscapes. Rebates of $1 per square foot for lawn conversions are still available here.

In FY 2021/2022, Healdsburg also implemented the Recycled Water Delivery Program to help residents meet their outdoor irrigation needs during the drought. Recycled water offset over 15 million gallons of potable water use in FY 2021/2022. While free delivery is no longer offered, recycled water is still available for free with the option to self-haul or contract directly with water haulers. The City is also pursuing a Municipal Recycled Water Pipeline to provide recycled water to City parks, golf course, cemetery, and some public schools facilities. More information is available in the 2023 Water Management FAQ here.

RAINWATER CAPTURE SYSTEM
REBATES AVAILABLE

Now is a great time to set up a rainwater capture system and collect water to use in your landscape later in the summer! Thanks to a regional grant, rebates are available for $0.50 per gallon of storage. Additionally, the per site maximum has just been increased to $5,000 to encourage larger systems. Tanks purchased for recycled water during the 2021 drought are eligible, but must be set up to now collect rainwater to qualify for the rebate. (Note: Tanks must also have receipts showing cost and date of purchase.) Find out more about the rebate and technical assistance available here.
