City staff continue to monitor weather forecasts, and the projected levels of the Russian River and Dry Creek (which impact Foss Creek).
Two storms are anticipated this weekend - one on Saturday, and another beginning on Sunday afternoon, continuing through Monday. A Flood Watch is in effect in Sonoma County beginning Saturday, January 14 at 4 a.m. until Monday, January 16 at 4 p.m. Maximum projected levels are still not anticipated to reach flood stage in Healdsburg.
Our team will continue to monitor the situation, and will provide updates as needed. Be sure to follow the City of Healdsburg on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
The City of Healdsburg's sandbag station remains open at the Healdsburg Community Center (1557 Healdsburg Avenue).
Sand and empty bags will be provided, however we recommended you bring:
A shovel to fill bags
Gloves to protect your hands
A helper to assist in filling
