Conference Meeting

Wednesday, February 15th at 10 a.m.

The City Commission Conference Meeting will be held virtually to discuss the Regular City Commission Meeting Agenda, upcoming Agenda Items and other business related to the City. The general public is welcome to watch the virtual meeting by joining via the Webex Webinar information provided below. An in-person option is also available to watch at City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, room 215.

Regular City Commission Meeting 

Wednesday, February 15th 

The City of Hollywood will be conducting a  Regular City Commission Meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Blvd Room 219. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Citizens' Comments will take place at 5 p.m. 

The City offers in-person comments for Agenda Items, other than Presentations and Proclamations, with no registration required. The public is encouraged to participate in-person at City Hall, facial coverings are recommended for visitors and staff while inside the building.

Lend Your Support!

The City is applying for Broward County Surtax funding for two traffic calming and capacity improvement projects. The 2023 Surtax Cycle 3 Project Application window is currently open and successful applications must demonstrate “community support” for the proposed projects. The projects identified are as follows: 

-North 46th Avenue Traffic Capacity Improvement Project will consists widening the pavement at three key intersections to improve vehicular capacity and overall corridor safety. Intersections include the southern side of Hollywood Boulevard, Taft Street and at Stirling Road.

-Taft Street Traffic Capacity Improvement Project consists of the widening of pavement at seven key intersections on Taft Street between North 40th Avenue and North 22nd Avenue.

The goal of these projects is to improve vehicular capacity and overall corridor safety. The City is offering a number of online options where you can lend your support for the projects:
