From: City of IrvineEncourage your child to just keep strumming by signing up for a music class. The City of Irvine is offering several classes that teach children how to play a stringed instrument. Your child can learn easy chords and melodies on the guitar or ukulele, or learn to pluck notes and melodies on the Pipa, a traditional Chinese musical instrument. Learning to play an instrument can help develop cognitive agility, relieve stress, and engage creativity.
