From: City of IrvineInspire your creativity! This winter, the City of Irvine is hosting cartooning and drawing classes for children ages 8–15. These classes offer opportunities for participants to learn from creative experts how to draw famous cartoon characters. Children ages 3–5 can register for the Imagination Academy, where they will learn important social and positive thinking skills.

Sign up for winter classes in Irvine:
Cartooning: Pre-teens and teens can learn the basics of cartooning in this program led by the Chuck Jones Center of Creativity, in partnership with the City of Irvine; ages 12–15 years.
Imagination Academy: Children will practice daily social skills, building blocks for education, and tools for positive thinking; ages 3–5 years.
Intro to Character Development: Students will draw a few of the most famous cartoon characters ever created; ages 8–13 years.
