From: City Of IrvingFamilies are invited to gather for Irving Public Library's (IPL) African American Read-In 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Jack Huffman Community Building, 801 W. Irving Blvd. The annual Read-In, hosted by IPL since 2011, shares children's literature written and illustrated by African Americans reflecting life experiences.
Celebrate African American authors and illustrators by joining storyteller Toni Simmons for interactive folktales, songs and more in honor of African American Heritage Month.
