Celebrate safely: leave fireworks to the pros
As you plan your July 4 festivities, remember it's illegal to use fireworks in the Lenexa city limits. The following aren't considered fireworks and are OK to use in Lenexa:
Sparklers
Snakes
Smoke bombs
Paper caps with less than .25 grain of explosive
