From: City of Little RockState of the City Rescheduled for Monday
Friends,
The National Weather Service has placed Little Rock under an enhanced risk for severe weather tomorrow. Because of the potential for dangerous thunderstorms, we've made the decision to postpone the planned State of the City address until Monday, March 6.
The safety of our residents is my top priority. Please remain aware of weather conditions today and tomorrow. We certainly hope we avoid any bad weather, but it's in the best interests of attendees and staff to reschedule out of an abundance of caution.
I invite you to join me on Monday at 6 p.m. at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School for the State of the City, as I share with you how we are growing forward together in Arkansas's Capital City.
I appreciate you.
Mayor Frank Scott, Jr.
