On December 4, 2022 at approximately 9:18am, the Middletown Police Department responded to the area of 175 South Main Street for the report of gunshots. Responding officers were able to confirm that a shooting incident occurred but all parties left prior to their arrival so there was no active threat to the public. 

Officers and Detectives determined that one building (175 South Main Street) and one unoccupied vehicle in the area had been struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries and this case remains an active investigation.
