From: City of Neptune BeachWhen paid parking was introduced to the Beaches Town Center area in 2019, the City designated a specific area along Second Street for registered Neptune Beach residents to park.
In 2022, the Neptune Beach City Council voted to improve the resident parking program. Registered residents now receive a 3-hour validation to park anywhere in the Neptune Beach metered parking area at no cost to them.
Here are the requirements to use the validation:
-Residents must register their license plates and be approved. Previously registered residents do not need to re-apply.
-Residents must park forward-facing in a designated Neptune Beach metered parking space. This validation cannot be used for any off-street (private) lots, valet parking, or on the Atlantic Beach side of the Beaches Town Center.
-Residents must activate their validation upon arrival using a kiosk or the Flowbird Parking mobile app.
Any resident who would like to stay longer than 3 hours has the option to purchase more time when they check in with the kiosk or mobile app.
Residents can register their plates with the form located at northbeachesparking.com/neptune. For those who are unable to use the web form, paper applications are available at Neptune Beach City Hall, 116 First Street.
The website also has a parking map and step-by-step guides for using the validation.
