From: City of NewtonNewton, NC - The Newton Spring Yard Sale, which was originally scheduled April 22, will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Southside Park.
More than 30 vendors have reserved spaces, so attendees can expect to discover a trove of good deals and interesting finds. Furniture, clothing, toys, electronics, books, collectibles, and more will be for sale. Newton Parks and Recreation Department hosts the sale to foster community, promote sustainability, and offer residents a chance to declutter their homes while discovering new treasures.
A limited number of 12-foot-by-12-foot vendor spaces remain available. Preregistration is $20 per space through 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 17. Late registration is $25 per space until the day of the sale. Please call the Newton Recreation Center at 828-695-4317 to confirm availability and reserve your space.
Southside Park is located at 1775 Southwest Blvd., beside the North Carolina Army National Guard Armory. Turn your visit to the sale into a fun outing for the whole family by enjoying the 27-acre park’s amenities, including a one-mile walking trail, picnic tables, playground areas, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, an informal ball field, and a large open play area for soccer, kite flying, badminton, or frisbee.
