USA BMX Gator Nationals Spotlight Oldsmar, Pinellas County to International Market

The USA BMX Gator Nationals Series returned to the newly renovated Oldsmar BMX Supercross Track Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9, 2022, with a successful championship featuring over 900 national and international riders.

Proudly sponsored by Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater, the event shined a spotlight on Oldsmar and Pinellas County to the international market through various online and digital engagements by USA BMX. The total attendance was recorded as 11,478 by USA BMX over the three-day competition.  

The economic impact from the weekend encompassed 2,550 room nights, as well as 3.2 spectators per athlete. Additionally, Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater garnered over 13,000 activation engagements through its on-site promotions, including registrations, promotional items and Destination magazine giveaways.

The Oldsmar BMX Supercross Track will once again host the Annual USA BMX Gator Nationals Supercross Series from Friday, February 24, through Sunday, February 26, 2023. The competition will feature a Friday Worlds Qualifier 2-Day National and the USA BMX Pro Series.
