Prior Lake firefighters headed back to class to stress the importance of fire prevention with Prior Lake Savage Area School students. An open house at Fire Station #1 was also held last night to give the community a chance to learn more about fire safety.

Candy Crawl!
Candy Crawl is a daytime trick-or-treat event for Prior Lake's youngest residents. Start your Candy Crawl at Prior Lake City Hall and move through downtown. A map of participating businesses will be posted on our website by Oct. 27. Thank you to Sonnet Montessori for sponsoring this year's event. Trick-or-treating is scheduled for Tues., Oct. 31 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The PLPD and other departments partnered with Southern Valley Alliance to sell purple patches during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Proceeds support domestic abuse services in our community. Patches are $15 or $135 for a full set of 10.
