COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

February 13, 2023 
The meeting began with a moment of silence for
Martha Mary Hunsucker
and Mayor Jack O'Renick.
Chief Richardson led the assembly in the Pledge.
Roll call established a quorum.
Alderman Ray was absent and Alderman Steffen attended on zoom. The Board voted unanimously to move into a Public Hearing at which time City Clerk McGhee talked about the request to vacate a portion of Harris Street. Seeing no questions or discussion, the Board voted to return to open session and the Mayor presented 4 bills to the Board for their approval. All bills passed unanimously by a vote of 3-0.
#4615 was pulled until the next meeting
to allow all parties to be present at that time.
#4616 authorized payment to Wil-Pav
for various street repairs in the city.
#4617 authorized transfer of funds
from the American Rescue Plan
to the Sewer fund to pay for
sewer maintenance in the city.
#4618 adopts by reference the 2021 Edition of Construction Codes. This codes book has been available to the public for review for 90 days beginning in October of 2022. It will now will be available to the public for further review for another 90 days and will be second-read and passed on May 22, 2023.
#4619 authorized payment to Holliday Sand and Gravel.

of water lines in the City.
