Centennial Celebration
The Centennial Action Committee met last night after Music Bingo to discuss moving forward with plans for the 100-year celebration.
The general feeling was there is too much concern about community health to have a celebration in 2022.
The next Music Bingo is 11/2 at 6:30pm at Mike Onka Hall.
After Music Bingo, let's meet again for a short meeting to discuss Spring activities leading up to the final collection of items for the time capsule and the sealing of the time capsule with the stone marker some time next year.

National Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work Day -
In 1902, American President Theodore Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear cub while hunting in Mississippi.
This incident made national news.
Clifford Berryman published a cartoon of the event in the Washington Post on November 16th, 1902.
The caricature became an instant classic.
The Berryman cartoon of Teddy Roosevelt and the cub inspired New York store owner Morris Michtom to create a new toy. Morris Michtom wrote President Roosevelt to ask permission to name the new toy a “Teddy Bear.”
