From: City Of TampaMayor Jane Castor, Councilman Luis Viera, and community members helped celebrate the grand opening of the New Tampa All-Abilities Playground, the first inclusive and sensory-friendly playground fully funded by the City of Tampa. The New Tampa All Abilities Playground is a state-of-the-art, 10,000+ square-foot playground that is designed for children with a wide range of physical, cognitive, sensory, and neuro-diverse abilities. It also features multiple play pieces that are wheelchair accessible.

City of Tampa Holiday Office Closures
As a reminder, City of Tampa Solid Waste is running one day behind schedule on Monday and Tuesday this week due to the Christmas Holiday. City of Tampa offices will also be closed on January 2nd for New Year’s. There will be no solid waste service that day. See revised Solid Waste trash collection schedules here. Stay up to date with any service changes by downloading the Tampa Trash and Recycling App from the App Store or Google Play. The app can look up specific items to see if they are recyclable or find alternative disposal/donation options.
ReliaQuest Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade & Pep Rally
Before the Mississippi State Bulldogs take on the Illinois State Illini on January 2nd, the ReliaQuest Bowl New Year's Eve Parade and Pep Rally will begin at 5:30 pm on December 31st along 7th Avenue. The parade will feature floats and marching bands including the two college bands. The pep rally will feature a battle of the bands and the teams’ cheerleaders. Pro tip: arrive early!

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful After Gasparilla Cleanup
Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for our After Gasparilla Cleanup on January 29th at 8 am to help pick up beads and trash left behind from the festivities. Groups will be stationed in four locations: Fred Ball Park, Bern's Park, Kate Jackson Park, and Bank of America.

The City of Tampa is seeking 200 users to provide feedback on the new Mobility as a Service (MaaS) pilot program with Moovit, an urban mobility app that helps users plan multimodal trips, whether they prefer to walk, bike, scoot, drive, ride the streetcar or take the bus. The Moovit app is available for everyone to download. Sign up to provide feedback on the MaaS pilot program.
Job of the Week
The Parks & Recreation Department is hiring a Landscape Architect II to prepare architectural drawings for park and landscape improvement projects. This position also will also be responsible for municipal site planning, coordination, and design activities.
