From: City of TempeCalling all residents: Neighborhood Day at the State Capitol is on Jan. 26
The 56th State Legislature will soon be called to order and, if you’ve ever wondered what goes on during the legislative session, join the City Council for Neighborhood Day at the State Capitol. It’s happening from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Arizona State Senate, 1700 W. Washington St., in Phoenix.
Attendees can meet City Councilmembers, learn about Tempe’s legislative program and get acquainted with their Arizona legislative representatives. Participants will also have time for self-guided tours after the program. RSVP to the Neighborhood Services Division by calling 480-350-8234 or by visiting tempe.gov/neighborhoods and clicking on “Neighborhood Day” in the left navigation.
If you would like email updates on bills that the City of Tempe is following at the Legislature, sign up to receive them by selecting the “Elections and Legislative Alerts” option under the “Tempe City Hall” heading at tempe.gov/enews.
