Take the water use calculator quiz
Want to know if your water is being used efficiently in your home? The Water Use Calculator from the Arizona Municipal Water Users Association (AMWUA) uses your answers to a few simple questions to estimate how much water an individual needs each month to be efficient. Residents can use this estimate to set monthly water usage goals for the home. To see how the water use calculator’s suggestions compare to the actual home water use, visit the WaterSmart Customer Portal to view hourly, daily and monthly water usage charts.

Monitor plants for signs of stress, especially during the summer months. Visit Watering by the Numbers for detailed, step-by-step instructions regarding how much and how often to water.

Summer grass (Bermuda) - once every 30 days
Over seeded cool season grass - once every ten to 14 days
Trees and shrubs on same valve
