Neighborhood Leadership Academy

This exciting one-day workshop will take participants through an action-based introduction to community services, support, and processes. The course will feature presentations from each of the City's key departments, as well as great information about how to start and run a successful Neighborhood Coalition. Apply online today through Feb 20 at templetx.gov/nla.

Homebuyer Education Class
Together with Cadence Bank, the City of Temple will be hosting a FREE homebuyer education course on March 9th, starting at 5:30 p.m. The seminar will be held at the City of Temple Housing Resource Center at 101 N. Main Street. During the seminar, participants will learn about credit scores, homebuyer incentives, the home-buying process, home affordability, and more! We look forward to seeing you there.

Holiday Collection Schedule & Recycling

Garbage, recycling, and bulk/brush collections will run on a regular schedule on February 20, Presidents Day. Please have your items to the curb by 7:00 a.m. City offices will be closed on February 20 and reopen on February 21 at 8:00 a.m. Visit templetx.gov/solidwaste for more information on delays and schedules.

2023 Temple Community Treasures Visual Arts Contest
Submissions are now open for the Temple Community Treasures Visual Arts Contest. The Temple Main Street Program is conducting this contest to draw community attention to the importance of protecting and preserving our historic buildings.
