Hillsborough County is the third most populous county in the Sunshine State and includes Tampa.
TALLAHASSEE - Florida Democrats are hanging their heads in shame, not for re-electing the failing Nikki Fried as their State Chairman, but because they have lost control of Florida’s third-largest county, Hillsborough. Republicans have flipped the county red in voter registration!
Florida Republicans now lead in 58 out of 67 counties in voter registration. Miami-Dade is likely to be the next county to flip red, as the hard work of Florida GOP grassroots volunteers continues to push forward in registering voters who support our commonsense policies and President Donald J. Trump’s successful agenda.
“Congratulations to the Republican leaders and volunteers of Hillsborough County! Your work has been nothing short of impressive,” said Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power. “President Trump’s Golden Age is upon us, and Florida voters are showing support for his initiatives by registering as Republicans, rejecting the great harm Democrats have inflicted upon our great nation.”
“We look forward to working with our grassroots leaders and supporters in other counties, particularly Miami-Dade, where we are just a stone’s throw away from flipping Florida’s largest county red,” said Power.
