Cypress College is celebrating Black Student Success Week during DEI Awareness Month. This year's theme is "Vision to Action: Building Systems and Structures for Black Student Success." Online activities will be held daily. Cypress College will also hold an HBCU Virtual Transfer Fair as part of Black Student Success Week on Wednesday, April 26.

Denim Day Resource Fair
Join us for the Denim Day Resource Fair to bring awareness to sexual assault and support survivors with resources, the Clothesline Project, an activity on sex and consent, food (first come, first served) and other goodies!
Don't forget to wear your denim in solidarity with sexual assault survivors.
When: Wednesday, April 26 @ 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Online Counseling Now Available Saturdays
We understand days are short and life can often require a lot of juggling priorities. To make counseling services more accessible, the college now offers online counseling on Saturdays at 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Speak to a Counselor Online in Cranium Cafe
Registration for summer 2023 classes begins next week with fall 2023 registration to follow in July, so prepare by meeting with a counselor for educational planning and course selection this week!
Counseling appointments are available weeks 3-13 of each semester; the first two weeks and last three weeks of each semester are reserved for walk-in counseling to assist with course registration and clearance. This semester, counseling appointments can be scheduled until April 29.
Summer Graduation and Certificate Applications Available April 28
Planning to graduate or complete a certificate this summer? Applications will be available April 28 - June 8, so mark your calendar and prepare to submit your application before the deadline.
For students who expect to graduate in summer 2023 but would like to participate in the college's 56th Commencement ceremony on May 19, please complete and submit the Petition to Participate in Commencement by May 14.

Join us for Closing Weekend: Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play
Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play
Immerse yourself in a story where a group of survivors try and work together to survive in a post-apocalyptic society by using the power of storytelling, art, music, and... the Simpsons! Don't miss your chance to experience the struggles of humanity (while having fun along the way) in the present, future, and very far future in this post-electric play!
When: April 28-29 @ 7 p.m. & April 30 @ 4 p.m.
