Hello American!

Welcome to this month's Teen's Newsletter. February break is coming soon! I hope you have fun plans and are able to take some time to kick back and relax. Keep scrolling down to see what's happening this month for anyone in grades 6-12. Want more information on a program? Click its link and read more about it on the Ashland Town Calendar.

Remember, if you're in 8th grade or higher (aged 13 or up) and want to keep up-to-date on events, be the first to know about new books coming in, and have easy access to library resources, join our Discord server!

The best way to keep updated on our events is to subscribe to our website calendar. Click on Notify Me®, pick the Library Events (about 3/4 of they way down the page) and you'll get notifications when we've added new, exciting programs!

The next game days will be Friday February 17th, from 3:30-4:45 PM in the Schiesske Meeting Room, and Saturday March 4th, from 1:30-2:30 PM in the Teen Room. Snacks will be provided and no registration or sigh-up is required! Email Ana at [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

Come to the Library on February 14  from
5:30-7:30 PM to NOT celebrate Valentines day. Instead, spend the night watching movies, eating snacks and making blackout poetry! No Registration is required, but it is recommended, click here to register.

Shark Facts for grades 5-8
Learn about Shark Facts from the Atlantic White Shark Conservatory on February 21st from 5-6 PM. Go through a series of true/false statements about sharks to address some of the most common misconceptions.

On February 23rd from 6-7:30 PM Decimated Designs from New Britain Connecticut will be coming to the library to do a special effects makeup class for teens and adults! Click here to register.
