Government and Politics

From: Oklahoma Governor J Kevin StittOn Friday, March 07, 2025, Governor Kevin Stitt announced the official launch of the Oklahoma Division of Government Efficiency (DOGE-OK) website. The new website serves as a transparency portal for DOGE-OK initiatives, including state agency workforce data and project efficiencies that save time and tax dollars. This access to clear, accessible information allows Oklahomans to see for themselves how state resources are being managed and monitor the progress of DOGE-OK.
“Transparency and accountability are key to making Oklahoma a Top Ten state,” Governor Stitt said. “With the launch of DOGE-OK, we’re giving Oklahomans a clearer picture of how their government operates. We’ve already taken steps to cut waste, limit government overreach and protect taxpayer dollars, and DOGE-OK is another tool to keep us on that path. By making this data easily available, we’re empowering citizens and leaders to drive smarter, leaner and more responsible government.”
Announced during his State of the State address in February, DOGE-OK builds upon Governor Stitt’s past efficiency initiatives with a focus on eliminating wasteful government spending, improving efficiency and ensuring taxpayer dollars are being used effectively across state government.
In addition to the public website, DOGE-OK will submit a report by March 31 outlining agency budget findings, recommendations for fiscal reforms and strategies for efficiencies. Oklahomans can follow DOGE-OK on X for updates, findings and accomplishments.
