From: Easthampton City Arts

At the start of this new year, Easthampton City Arts is thrilled to announce our 20th Anniversary Year of community arts and cultural programming in the City of Easthampton!

We extend our immense gratitude to each and every one of you who has played a part in establishing and shaping our organization - whether you've served as an ECA Committee & Subcommittee Member, participated as a Visual Artist, Musician, Poet, or Performer, contributed to our programming as an event attendee or volunteer, and/or has shared your voice and vision with us as dedicated community members!

As a municipal organization, we orient ourselves and operate in direct response and relationship to this vital and evolving community we are a part of - and we are simultaneously honored, proud, and humbled to reach this meaningful milestone, as the direct result of working and growing together. Thank you all so much!

To celebrate, we’ve got a robust lineup of public programming throughout 2025 that’s free and engaging for people of all ages - and we encourage you all to mark your calendars for all that’s to come! We're also working toward new public artworks and initiatives, so stay tuned for more information as developments on these new projects unfold.

Be sure to keep scrolling through to the end of this newsletter for details about upcoming events and program announcements -- and, if you'd like to become more familiar with ECA’s unique history and role in the City of Easthampton, you can learn more about it here.

Easthampton Futures Project

In 2019, Easthampton City Arts (ECA) partnered with Dpict for the Easthampton Futures Project, which was a six-month long series of community visioning sessions about the future of Arts & Culture in the City of Easthampton. The project consisted of 4 community convenings and several other opportunities that generated input from close to 500 community members, all of which was thoughtfully documented and processed to create a comprehensive, community-generated Vision Plan for the role of Arts & Culture in Easthampton for the next 10 years. As we find ourselves at the halfway mark of the Easthampton Futures Project timeline, we look forward to sharing our successes thus far and to work together to identify new priorities for the years to come!

We look forward to seeing you at CitySpace on Wednesday January 22nd @ 6pm!

Art Walk Easthampton

Save the date for the first Art Walk Easthampton event of the year, on Saturday February 1st from 4-7pm. Please note: there is no Art Walk event during the month of January.
