This beloved annual celebration transforms our vibrant city into a winter wonderland filled with festive cheer and unforgettable experiences. Mark your calendars and join us in welcoming the joy of the season! WinterFest begins November 23, 2024 at 5 pm with the Tree Lighting Ceremony and at 6 p.m. with the Scherr Legate Lights Parade.

Lights!
Throughout the season, San Jacinto Plaza and the surrounding downtown area is covered with more than 1 MILLION lights, oversized decorations, and a 55-ft holiday tree. The season includes an outdoor ice-skating rink, winter-themed attractions and family-friendly programs.

Pictures with Santa
Presented by GECU, Pictures with Santa happens from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at San Jacinto Plaza beginning on November 29 through December 22. The Photo Station provides on-the-spot pictures straight to your phone free of charge (no appointments needed).

Glide into the holiday spirit at The Rink at WinterFest, the coolest family-friendly attraction at the Convention Center Plaza in Downtown El Paso! The Rink at WinterFest offers fun for all ages, free to see, and only $12 to skate.
