Located in Harrisonburg, Virginia - Celebrating 19 SEASONS of blood sweat and fears... we take FEAR to a whole new level! We offer lighted parking area, a hay wagon ride, food concessions, souvenirs, music & DJ, actor photo ops/entertainment, and bonfire to warm your chilled bones! Supporting us helps to provide safe and quality fall entertainment for many to enjoy. Each year we invest a large amount into improvements to our show and facilities, as we strive to constantly make Fear Forest a top notch attraction. Props and sets are professional quality & expensive! It’s a complete Halloween-themed experience that has become a local tradition!

Fear Forest

So how about venturing into the dark...turning the corner...and wait...what was that? With nowhere to run and hide...hmm...you never know what's waiting for you under the full moon...

We dare you to visit Fear Forest – A four tenths of a mile walking woods trail, with terrifying scenes, sounds, high tech animatronics and props. Fear Forest is our original and most popular attraction.

We've grown more than just a corn crop at Fear Forest, and we've kept it contained...but not for long!

Special Events

Friday, October 4th: OPENING NIGHT!! – Join the Q101 Crew from 7:30 - 9:30 for a Live Broadcast. Tickets will be $25.00 for opening night!  Beat the crowds and get scared for less!

Wednesday, October 16th: NO SCARE NIGHT  6:30-9:00 pm Tickets are $15.00 cash
Back by popular demand Fear Forest will be opening its attractions for a NO FEAR NIGHT.  Guests will have the opportunity to visit our attractions without the "fear".  Actors will not be present, and animatronics will not be active.  There maybe some startle sounds triggered.  It's perfect for younger kids that are not ready for the intense show, or just those looking for a less frightful experience.  Its perfect to take in all the lighting and sets.  Parental discretion is advised as some scenes may still contain gory or disturbing images.  Guests will experience the hay wagon ride from the parking area, and all three attractions.  Guests complete the attractions at their own pace.  Photo ops are available outside of the attractions.  Concessions will be available for purchase. 

Thursday, Oct. 17th: Tickets will be discounted to $25.00 with donation of a canned food item.  Pleases make sure food donated is IN DATE!  Donation will be made to a local food pantry.

Thursday, Oct. 24th: Generations Crossing Benefit Night – A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Generations Crossing.  Generations Crossing is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services for adult and child day care.  This unique program offers the special opportunity for adults and children to develop meaningful relationships with all ages within our loving, intergenerational setting.

Thursday, Oct. 31st: Celebrate HALLOWEEN with FEAR FOREST - We'll have your treats!  Costumes are encouraged.  No masks allowed in the attractions. 

Friday, Nov. 1st & Saturday, Nov. 2nd: Final weekend of the 2024 season.
