From: Get Green FestGet Green Fest is Fort Wayne's only family-friendly St. Patrick's festival. The event is hosted by the Ft. Wayne Professional Firefighters.
The event, held in downtown Fort Wayne, is hosted by the Ft. Wayne Professional Firefighters, Hoosier Lottery, and Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union.
Schedule:
8:30am-8pm: DJ, Food, and fun all day
Food, Drinks and Fun!!!
Rock the day away while you enjoy delicious food, drinks, and fun with friends. Festivities begin at 8:30am and continue until 6:00pm. Music by DJ Jason Spuller from 9:00am-2:00pm. NO COVER CHARGE FOR THE EVENT TENT!
9:30am - 11:00am: 5-Kilt Run/Walk - 900 W Main Street
Organized by the FWFD's Health and Wellness Committee and Fleet Feet, the Get Green Fest 5-Kilt Run/Walk is Ft. Wayne's first organized run/walk of the year. START/FINISH location TBA. Race starts at 9:30am.
Deadline for online registration is Thursday, March 16th. You may also register at packet pick-up on Friday, March 17th from noon-8:00pm @ 1405 Broadway, Ft. Wayne.

11:00am: River Greening - Main Street (Carole Lombard Memorial) Bridge
Mimicking the famous Chicago River Greening, Ft. Wayne Firefighters turn the St. Mary's River green using eco-friendly vegetable dye. River greening starts at 11:00am at the Main Street (Carole Lombard Memorial) Bridge.
12:00pm: Gold Coin Hunt
What's at the end of a FWFD ladder truck? Our very own Leprechaun dropping gold coins for the children to collect. Drop begins at 12:00pm.
1:00pm: Lucky Charms Eating Contest
Age-divisioned matches enable both young and old to gobble up Lucky Charms for bragging rights and a trophy. Event starts at 1:00pm.
Debutants will be Performing at 3:00pm!!!
