CHARLESTON, WV - Gov. Jim Justice today presented a $750,000 check to Union Mission to strengthen their services helping people in need across West Virginia.

This funding will support roofing upgrades, enhancements to the Sober Living Home, construction of a new men’s recovery housing unit, and the installation of reliable emergency generators at the John and Kathleen Faltis Center and the June Montgomery Harless Center.

"Union Mission has been a shining light in our communities for a long time,” Gov. Justice said. “What they are doing is truly God’s work, helping people when they need it most, giving them hope, a fresh start, and a path forward. I truly believe God works through people in different ways, and the team at Union Mission is living proof of the amazing impact he can have on our lives. Today’s funding isn’t just about dollars—it’s a symbol of hope and a reminder of what’s possible when we all pull the rope together. I cannot thank the team at Union Mission enough for their work.”
