From: Texas Governor Greg AbbottGovernor Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott on Nov 28th, volunteered with Meals on Wheels Central Texas to deliver Thanksgiving meals to Texas families and homebound seniors in Austin. The First Family was joined by Meals on Wheels Central Texas President and CEO Henry Van De Putte.
“The Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving Day delivery is one of the most cherished traditions for our family," said Governor Abbott. "Every year, we are honored to volunteer with Meals on Wheels to fight hunger among the elderly community in the Greater Austin area. The giving spirit truly embodies this holiday, and we encourage everyone in Texas to support those in need within their communities. We wish all Texans a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving.”
