From: New Hampshire Governor Kelly AyotteCONCORD, N.H. – On Mar 4th, Governor Kelly Ayotte toured Lakes Region Community College with President Patrick Cate and Vice President Carlene Rose.
The Governor learned firsthand how Lakes Region Community College is preparing students for the workforce of tomorrow in fields ranging from culinary, to automotive, to fire and EMS services and nursing.
The Governor’s proposed budget includes historic investments in our community college system, career and technical education, and workforce credentialing programs:
- Investing in the Community College System of New Hampshire to maintain the current tuition freeze
- $6 million to fund dual and concurrent enrollment scholarships and support these programs for our high school students
- Expanding career and technical education and workforce credential programs in the trades, health care, and other critical jobs in our state
