HELENA, MT - On the 11th day of his 12 Days of Giving campaign, Governor Greg Gianforte today encouraged Montanans to support Many Rivers Whole Health, a nonprofit organization providing wellness expertise in mental health and substance abuse services for adults and children.

“It’s critical we support the organizations serving our rural communities and work together to address the behavioral health crisis facing many Montanans,” Gov. Gianforte said. “For nearly 50 years, Many Rivers has come alongside those in need to create better outcomes and healthier lives.”

Founded in 1974, the nonprofit provides expert mental and behavioral health support and works closely with a client’s doctor and other community partners to address physical and mental challenges.

Serving 14 counties across Montana, the nonprofit provides a full continuum of behavioral health care to include mental health and substance abuse outpatient, adult day treatment, youth programming, peer support, psychiatric medication management, program assertive community treatment and residential programming to Montanans with behavioral health challenges such as psychosis, anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and other behavioral health disorders.

“We feel very honored to be one of many organizations who have the privilege of providing mental health and substance abuse recovery services to the wonderful people of Montana,” said Rob DeGolier, a Many Rivers Whole Health supervisor in the Flathead region.

The nonprofit currently serves over 3,000 Montanans across its coverage area.

The Many Rivers Whole Health Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals to support its programming through. To donate or learn more about the nonprofit, Montanans may visit manyriverswholehealth.org.
