Governor Lombardo Calls for Bipartisanship and Progress as 2025 Session Begins

CARSON CITY, NV – On February 03, 2025, as the 83rd (2025) Session of the Nevada Legislature formally begins, Governor Joe Lombardo received delegations from the Nevada State Legislature at the Nevada State Capitol. Governor Lombardo welcomed Senators Carrie Buck, Skip Daly, and Angie Taylor from the Nevada State Senate and Assemblymembers Tracy Brown-May, Reuben D'Silva, and Brian Hibbetts from the Nevada State Assembly.

“As the 2025 Legislative Session begins Feb 3rd, I’m hopeful that legislators will join me in setting aside partisan rhetoric and focus on what unites us this session, so we can make meaningful progress for Nevada families,” said Governor Lombardo. “As I said in my State of the State address, finding sensible solutions requires leadership, partnership, and bipartisanship. Together, let’s strive to make significant progress this session in lowering housing costs, expanding healthcare access, maximizing our investment in education, implementing education accountability, bolstering public safety, and building a stronger economy.”

As the session begins, Governor Lombardo also highlighted the progress of his administration over the past two years on X.
