From: Maryland Governor Wes MooreANNAPOLIS, MD - On February 7, 2025, Governor Wes Moore and cabinet members continued the governor’s statewide cabinet meeting road tour in Anne Arundel County. The administration’s cabinet convened at Kinder Farm Park and visited locations across the county with County Executive Steuart Pittman and members of the Anne Arundel County Council. The governor also joined cabinet members for a tour of the Chesapeake Arts Center, and discussed strategies to fight against child poverty with ENOUGH grantees.
"It’s great to be in Anne Arundel County today with our entire cabinet, as we work with local elected officials, community leaders, and partners from all corners of the state to deliver for the people of Maryland," said Gov. Moore. "Anne Arundel County is making big strides in areas like advancing health equity and tackling child poverty - while growing our economy and creating pathways to prosperity for all. The progress happening here is a reminder of what’s possible when Maryland doesn’t just move fast - but together."
