From: South Dakota Governor Kristi NoemPIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Kristi Noem announced that she will appoint Denny Law to the South Dakota Board of Technical Education (BOTE). She also reappointed Brian Sandvig to serve another term on the BOTE.
“South Dakota has some of the best technical schools in the nation, and we want to make them even better for our kids and grandkids,” said Governor Noem. “Denny understands and appreciates this goal. Together, we will continue to advance workforce opportunities to build an even stronger South Dakota.”
Law served as the general manager of Sioux Valley Telephone and Hills Telephone Company in 1997. He then became the eastern regional manager at Golden West. Starting in 2008, Law was the general manager and CEO of Golden West Telecommunications.
Law and his wife, Bonnie, live in Wall, South Dakota and have two sons. Law graduated with his bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University. He went on to earn his master’s degree from the University of South Dakota.
“I want to thank Governor Noem for appointing me to the Board of Technical Education,” said Denny Law. “South Dakota provides many paths to success for our children, one of those being technical education. I am looking forward to working with the governor and the other member of BOTE to ensure that our students receive the best technical education we can provide.”
