DENVER - On June 3, 2024, Governor Polis signed bills into law in ceremonies at the Governor’s Residence at Boettcher Mansion to support Coloradans with disabilities, ensure Coloradans have access to affordable and accessible healthcare, and support Colorado AmeriCorps members and the work they do to support Colorado communities.
Governor Polis signed the following bills into law:
- HB24-1115 - Prescription Drug Label Accessibility, sponsored by Representatives Mary Young and Junie Joseph, and Senator Steve Fenberg.
- HB24-1161 - Motor Vehicle Access Individuals with Disabilities, sponsored by Representative David Ortiz and Senator Nick Hinrichsen.
- HB24-1229 - Presumptive Eligibility for Long-Term Care, sponsored by Representative Regina English and Senators Kyle Mullica and Perry Will.
- HB24-1240 - AmeriCorps Education Award Tax Subtraction, sponsored by Representatives Junie Joseph and Ron Weinberg, and Senators Janice Rich and Tony Exum.
- HB24-1322 - Medicaid Coverage Housing & Nutrition Services, sponsored by Representatives Kyle Brown and Shannon Bird, and Senators Barbara Kirkmeyer and Robert Rodriguez.
- HB24-1360 - Colorado Disability Opportunity Office, sponsored by Representatives David Ortiz and Chad Clifford, and Senator Robert Rodriguez.
- HB24-1382 - Insurance Coverage Pediatric Neuropsychiatric Syndrome, sponsored by Representatives Judy Amabile and Kyle Brown, and Senator Kyle Mullica.

- HB24-1472 Raise Damage Limit Tort Actions, sponsored by Representatives Kyle Brown and Rose Pugliese, and Senators Kyle Mullica and Bob Gardner.
“Thanks to this bipartisan legislation we are preventing costly and divisive ballot measures that would be bad for the future of Colorado. This law will protect patient rights while saving Coloradans money on healthcare, creating a more affordable future for all of us,” said Governor Polis.

- SB24-110 - Medicaid Prior Authorization Prohibition, sponsored by Senators Robert Rodriguez and Barbara Kirkmeyer, and Representatives Judy Amabile and Emily Sirota.
