TALLAHASSEE, FL - On February 21, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Roy Smith to the School Board of Gilchrist County.

Smith is the Owner of Smith’s Septic Tank Service, Inc. Active in his community, he previously served as a member of the Gilchrist County Recreational Authority and the Leon and Gilchrist Counties Advisory Boards. Smith attended Florida State University.
