ST. PAUL, MN - Governor Tim Walz today issued a writ of special election to fill a vacancy in House District 40B in Ramsey County.

A special election to fill the vacancy will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. If necessary, a special primary election for nomination of candidates will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Affidavits of candidacy and nominating petitions may be filed with the Secretary of State or the county auditor of Ramsey County from Thursday, February 6, 2025, until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
