Governor’s Office Opens Application Process for Vacancy on the Minnesota Tax Court

ST. PAUL, MN - The Governor’s Office today announced a vacancy occurring on the Minnesota Tax Court in January of 2025.

The application process is now open for this vacancy. The Minnesota Tax Court is an executive branch court established by the Minnesota Legislature to hear and consider tax-related cases. Individuals must be citizens of the State of Minnesota and must possess experience with and knowledge of taxation and tax laws. Judges are appointed by the Governor to serve six-year terms.

Individuals wishing to apply may request an application by contacting the Office of the Governor and Lt. Governor via e-mail at [email protected]Application materials are due by 4:00 pm on December 12 and should be addressed to Governor Walz.
