Would you like to help plan the Groton Public Library’s 8th Annual Bumpers & Books event? The Junior Friends need your input to help make this year's event bigger and better than ever before. Attendees of all ages are welcome to attend our meeting.

Everything Must Go Book Sale

Friday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Monday, July 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Circle of Friends Book Sale Room will be open for shopping—everything must go before we begin a renovation project! Browse our selection of new and gently-used fiction and nonfiction books, DVDs, audiobooks, puzzles, and games. All items are "name your own price," and proceeds benefit the Groton Public Library.

Circle of Friends Monthly Meetup

Family Film & Fundraiser

Saturday, July 15, at 2:30 p.m.

The Junior Friends will present a showing of a family-friendly film. Refreshments will be for sale with proceeds to benefit the Groton Public Library. Feel free to bring your pillows and blankets as you enjoy the movie on the big screen! Call the Library at (860) 441-6750 for this month’s film title.

Library Helper Day

Tuesday, July 18, at 4 p.m.

During this busy hour, the Junior Friends will assist Groton Public Library staff in a variety of projects, including preparing craft and program materials, dusting and light cleaning, straightening shelves, and special event preparation. Limited to Junior Friends members; it’s free to join!
