Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Shop a great selection of new and gently-used books, as well as DVDs, audiobooks, and games. All items are "name your own price," and proceeds benefit the Groton Public Library. In the event of inclement weather, the sale will take place indoors.
Five Below Shopping Fundraiser
Sunday, May 21-Saturday, May 27
The Junior Friends of the Groton Public Library are sponsoring a shopping fundraiser at Five Below (917 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford Commons). When you shop between Sunday, May 21, and Saturday, May 27, 10% of your total purchase will benefit the Library. Note: You must present a Five Below shopping voucher, available at the Library, when you make your purchase.
Circle of Friends Monthly Meetup

Junior Friends
Library Helper Day
Thursday, May 18, at 4 p.m.
During this busy hour, the Junior Friends will assist Groton Public Library staff in a variety of projects, including preparing craft and program materials, dusting and light cleaning, straightening shelves, and special event preparation. Limited to Junior Friends members; it’s free to join!
Family Film & Fundraiser
Saturday, May 20, at 2:30 p.m.
The Junior Friends will present a showing of a family-friendly film. Refreshments will be for sale with proceeds to benefit the Groton Public Library. Feel free to bring your pillows and blankets as you enjoy the movie on the big screen! Call the Library at (860) 441-6750 for this month’s film title.
Crafting for a Cause
Tuesday, May 30, at 3:30 p.m.
Junior Friends, make cool crafts that will be gifted to local senior citizens, nursing home residents, homebound individuals, and veterans. Limited to Junior Friends members; it’s free to join!
